- Individual help
Some women need a chance to just sit and talk with someone without the structure of a Bible study. Some women feel more comfortable completing a Bible study with a qualified helping professional one-on-one. We can do both. We want you to feel comfortable and can make accommodations for you to come and talk with us to see if a Bible study is “for you.” We can also arrange for you to complete the after-abortion Bible study in an individual format. - Group Bible Study
Many women find the encouragement of a group format with other women who “get it” to be incredibly helpful and healing in their post-abortion journey. The friendships made during this Bible study often last long after the study is complete. In fact, there are ongoing informal after-abortion support groups that meet semi-monthly in our service area to continue supporting and encouraging the post-abortive client in her healing journey. How much do after-abortion services cost?
Due to the generosity of our supporters, our after-abortion services are 100% free to you, our client.
Are there eligibility requirements?
We welcome all people who can benefit from our services. We serve everyone regardless of income, residency status, enrollment in other social services programs, etc. Our services are 100% free and available to anyone who would like our assistance.
Do I have to be a Christian to benefit from your services?
No. We welcome all clients regardless of their spiritual beliefs. While all services offered at Align Pregnancy Services come from a biblical point of view; we believe that you have the freedom to make your own lifestyle choices, and to choose the Align services that are most helpful given your circumstances. As an expression of the love of Jesus, we offer all of our services free of charge to our clients.
Can I still be impacted by my abortion, even though it happened years ago?
Yes. A trauma that is not processed can continue to impact a person in their present day, even if the abortion happened decades earlier. Do you feel confused, guilty, betrayed, angry, ashamed, alone, or numb? Do you have these feelings and are unsure of their source? You may be experiencing post-abortion distress. Contact our Post-Abortion Services Director to schedule a time to explore your situation in a compassionate, non-judgmental, safe environment. It’s 100% free.
I never told anyone about my abortion, not even my boyfriend. I’m scared that if I contact you, someone will tell him. How can I be sure that this won’t happen?
Our post-abortion services are completely confidential. The only time that we will share your confidential information is if you want us to share it and you sign a consent form specifying what information can be shared with which person(s) – or if we are legally required to do so. All staff and volunteers are required to abide by strict client confidentiality requirements.
