Can I bring a support person?
You can bring a friend, the baby’s father, or any supportive person to your appointment.

One of our experienced clinicians will put gel on your stomach and use a transducer to do the ultrasound. The clinician will move the transducer around your stomach to find the baby’s heartbeat and image. You may feel slight pressure, but no pain, during your ultrasound.

Yes, ultrasounds are safe for you and your baby.

Ultrasounds usually take 20 to 30 minutes from start to finish.
